Dear Babbo
How It Works
Dear Babbo keeps the gift loop small: a parent curates a few ideas, a child chooses one, and the parent sees the pick.
1. A parent makes one list
The parent adds an occasion, a short set of gift ideas, optional product links, and optional pictures. The list is meant to be private and focused.
When the list is created, Dear Babbo gives the parent two private links: one for the child and one for the parent.
2. The child chooses
The child opens their private link, looks at the options, and picks the gift they would most like to give. They can change their mind by choosing a different gift later.
The child does not need an account, email address, password, payment method, or profile.
3. The parent checks the pick
The parent opens their private owner link to see which gift was picked and when. The parent can edit the list, add or remove gifts, or clear the current pick.
Dear Babbo does not order gifts, collect money, send notifications, or manage shipping. The parent handles ordering and wrapping outside the app.
